Tickets
No 2026 ticket details were on the WTA or TNTA sites when this page was published. Watch tn-tennis.com for the announcement. The early rounds, Monday to Wednesday, are usually the easiest days to get into at any tennis event and the best for seeing lots of matches on the outer courts. The final is on Sunday 8 November, Deepavali day itself.
Getting to the Stadium
- Suburban train: Nungambakkam station on the Beach–Tambaram line is the closest rail stop. Take an auto or walk the rest.
- Car or cab: Nungambakkam’s roads jam at office hours. For evening sessions on weekdays, a cab drop is less stressful than hunting for parking.
- MTC bus: plan the last stretch with the Chennai bus routes guide.
A Chennai Week in November
Early November is northeast monsoon season in Chennai, and outdoor play stops for rain. Carry an umbrella, and check the day’s order of play before leaving home.
The tournament also overlaps with Deepavali week. See our Deepavali in Chennai guide for shopping-area traffic, and events in Chennai for everything else on that week.
