Kodambakkam Zone (Zone 10), Chennai: Wards 127 to 142 and Zonal Office

Say “Kodambakkam” in Chennai and most people think of the film studios. The Corporation’s Kodambakkam zone is much bigger than that neighbourhood. Its 16 wards reach from Koyambedu and Alwar Thiru Nagar in the north-west, through Vadapalani, Saligramam and Ashok Nagar, down to K.K. Nagar, M.G.R. Nagar and the edge of Saidapet.

Zone 10 is one of the more split-up zones politically:
- Thiyagarayanagar (T. Nagar): wards 130 to 135 and 141
- Virugambakkam: wards 128, 129 and 136 to 138, plus part of 127
- Saidapet: wards 139, 140 and 142
- Maduravoyal: the remaining part of ward 127, around Koyambedu
