Ambattur Zone (Zone 7), Chennai: Wards 79 to 93, Councillors and Office

Ambattur was a municipality of its own until it joined the Corporation in 2011, and Zone 7 still has the feel of a separate town: the industrial estate, Korattur lake, and residential nagars stretching from Banu Nagar and Oragadam to Padi and Mogappair. The zonal office is on Thiruvallur High Road, opposite Dunlop.

Two Constituencies
Most of Zone 7 is in the Ambattur assembly constituency. The Mogappair side, wards 91 and 92 and part of 86, falls in Maduravoyal.
